Knitting is not just about creating and making things; it is a passion that creates beauty.

Knitwear is an expression of the culture and attitude to life of a generation. A RolliPulli combines comfort, elegance, and the lightness of being relaxed with functionality.

Technology

The RolliPulli is seamlessly manufactured in one piece on a flat knitting machine.

Product Innovation

The development of a perfectly fitting (if necessary, customized) sweater with a very short back and a very long, possibly wider front offers many advantages for users.

Yarns

The RolloPulli is knitted from yarns that are made entirely, or at least partially, from European, ideally German, hemp. The garment is manufactured seamlessly in one piece on a flat knitting machine.

Nursing Aspect

It is essential that the garment is as easy as possible to put on and take off. Due to the restriction of movement, two everyday caregivers or nursing staff are currently required. One person dresses the patient without creases, while the second supports the patient to prevent them from falling out of the wheelchair. The new development allows one caregiver to dress the patient from the front, over their head. At the same time, the patient is secured against falling forward. This increases safety, relieves the caregiver, and significantly reduces the amount of care required..

Sustainability

The RolliPulli is a wheelchair-accessible pullover designed for people with severely limited mobility, made from yarns that are wholly or at least partially sourced from European, ideally German, hemp. The garment is manufactured seamlessly in one piece on a flat knitting machine. This eliminates the need for sewing and the use of non-biodegradable sewing threads.

Physiology

Comfortable, pleasant, and stylish clothing boosts the wearer’s self-confidence and sense of well-being. This is especially true for people who are confined to a wheelchair due to severe mobility limitations and/or who, due to cognitive impairments (e.g., senile dementia), are no longer able to perceive themselves and express themselves. People with severely limited mobility sit in wheelchairs for long periods of time without moving, which can cause pressure points at the seams and lead to the development of pressure sores.
